Covid-19 Golfer’s Code of Conduct
All our new protocols will focus on the issue of physical distancing, cleanliness and minimal touch points. We are relying on your cooperation in order to open successfully. To be clear. We will only accept 100% compliance. Players failing to follow guidelines will be asked to leave the facility and may not be welcome to return.
Golfers Responsibilities
Arrive on the property a maximum of 20 minutes before your tee time
Everyone must adhere to social distancing at all times (minimum 6’ separation)
If you are feeling ill or have been in contact with anyone who is ill, please do not visit the golf course. Only players with a confirmed Tee Time should visit the course
With the exception of confirmed tee times, the course is closed at all time and no play is allowed
Pay only by: Debit, Visa, or Master Card – Tap Option Preferred No Cash Accepted
Power Carts are not available for daily rental – Minimum number of pull carts available
Proceed to the No 1 Tee no more than 15 minutes prior to your tee time
1 player on the tee box at a time
Flagsticks are not to be touched. Cups have been set so balls will not enter the hole
If your group catches the group ahead, stay back. There will be no playing through!
Do not share any equipment including scorecards, tees, clubs, balls, ball markers, etc.
Broken tee holders on tee boxes will be removed. Take your broken tees home with you
Do not pick stray golf balls (even if it’s a good one)
Do not chew sunflower seeds, chew tobacco, or share any food, drink or personal items
If you witness a group not social distancing, please contact the Golf Shop @ 250-629-6659
You may not bring your own alcohol on to the property
Please take everything home that you brought to the course including your clubs (and trash)
Do not loiter in the parking lot before or after your game
You may enter your scores, but you must do so at home. (Golf Canada App)
Golfers must refrain from engaging with grounds crew or visiting the maintenance facility
All golfers must adhere to the policies set above. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the property and may prohibit future access
Golf Course Responsibilities
The Pro Shop and Clubhouse are closed. Club storage locker use is discontinued
Our employees will stay home if sick.
The putting green and practice net are closed until further notice
Tee time intervals have been increased to ensure physical distancing
Tee Times are restricted and MUST be booked (by phone or online) prior to arrival at the Club No Walk-ons
Maximum number of players per group is three
Power Carts are single rider only unless you share the same household
No golf club rentals or power cart rentals at this time
Pull carts available and will be sanitized by staff members before and after every use
Shoe Cleaning (air Hose) is shut down until further notice
Rakes & ball washer stations are not available
AGA-BC Covid-19 Best Practices Protocols have all be Implemented and followed by all staff
Garbage cans will only be available at the 1st & 10th Tee Boxes
Clubhouse Washrooms on the Lower level will be open. 1 person allowed at a time
On course drinking water is not available. Please bring your own water and snacks
El Faro Restaurant is closed, but provides a take-out service on upper deck of clubhouse
Minimal number of staff on site, to limit interaction with public for health and safety
Please remember, the COVID-19 situation is ever evolving, and as such our response is evolving as well. We will continue to follow the recommendations and guidelines set out by health authorities to ensure the safety of our team and members while providing a safe and healthy outlet during these uncertain times.
